Overview

Join Spurs Sports & Entertainment (SS&E) as a Data Engineer! In this role, you'll orchestrate data using Python and SQL, designing infrastructure to pull data to/from a SQL Server, Leverage your skills to automate reports using visualization tools like Tableau. Responsibilities

  • Data Processing and ETL: Design and implement efficient data processing pipelines.
  • Data Integration: Enhance data integration from multiple systems, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Database Management: Administer databases, including modeling, design, and troubleshooting.
  • Data Warehousing: Develop and maintain data warehouses, supporting analytics needs.
  • Data Quality and Governance: Establish and enforce data quality standards and practices.
  • Collaboration and Support: Work with cross-functional teams, providing support in data-related tasks.
  • Reporting and Visualization: Structure datasets with precision for visualization in Tableau and other tools, ensuring clarity and accessibility in data presentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer.
  • Proficient in Python and SQL.
  • Experience extracting data from complex APIs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel.
  • Familiarity with AWS or Azure.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Data Factory is a plus.
  • Experience with Tableau.
  • Familiarity with advanced visualization frameworks is a plus(React/Vue/D3).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
