Job Summary:

Join the Sacramento Kings as a Sales Operations Intern and play a vital role in enhancing the fan experience leading up to game days and events. You will assist the Ticket Sales department in executing successful sales campaigns, ensuring memorable fan interactions, and maintaining organized event preparations.

Key Responsibility Areas:

  • Collaborate with the Ticket Sales department to support game day and event preparations by performing general office duties, including fulfilling swag bag requests, preparing marketing materials, and coordinating cross-departmental experiences.
  • Lead the coordination of game day projects to ensure seamless operations for the Gameday Staff, enhancing the overall fan experience.
  • Maintain oversight of the promotional item closet and cage inventory, ensuring meticulous organization, and proactively replenishing supplies as needed.
  • Efficiently manage the Swag Bag request sheet on a game-by-game basis, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Contribute to effective communication with the Operations department by assisting in the creation of a comprehensive weekly Ticket Sales Activity Summary.
  • Participate in the creation of group sales Spinzo links, flyers, and the tracking of Fan Experiences.
  • Embrace a flexible approach by performing any other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, demonstrating a strong technical skill set.
  • Exemplary organizational skills, enabling effective prioritization and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, facilitating clear and engaging interactions with team members and fans.
  • A friendly, professional, personable, and outgoing demeanor, with a commitment to delivering outstanding fan experiences.
  • A self-starter with a positive attitude, dedicated to fostering teamwork and achieving departmental goals.

To qualify for Kings University internships, you must be:

  • Currently enrolled in college or have graduated within 12 months
  • Able to commute to the downtown Sacramento office
  • Able to work 25 hours per week

Interns will be compensated $15.50 per hour and receive benefits such as California Paid Sick Leave, discounts on Sacramento Kings merchandise, and free parking.
