Real Salt Lake is looking to add a Website Specialist to join our growing Marketing Department. We are seeking a strategic and collaborative digital teammate to help grow our fan base, drive revenue, and push the RSL and Utah Royals brand forward. This role will be responsible for day-to-day management and oversight of digital media channels, including website and app platforms, for RSL, Utah Royals, Real Monarchs, RSL Academy, America First Field, and Zions Bank Training Center. The person in this role is passionate about the brand and product, curious, thoughtful and understands the importance of process, deadlines, and accountability. This individual should have technical proficiency, the ability to recommend strategic initiatives for audience growth, and experience in email marketing, including HTML/CSS code and Salesforce expertise a plus.


  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the team website CMS system in collaboration with MLS.
  • Oversee content publishing, management, troubleshooting, and execution of campaigns.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement marketing strategies and attract and retain RSL and Utah Royals fans.
  • Work closely with Business Intelligence teams to analyze performance data across marketing initiatives on web and app platforms.
  • Support match-day coverage across site and app, including content publishing and web livestream capabilities.
  • Make recommendations on SEO optimization and new platform features to acquire and engage fans.
  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns using HTML/CSS code, with proficiency in Salesforce being a plus.
  • Create digital assets such as web pages, navigation bars, layouts, forms, and email templates to support marketing efforts.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all owned digital channels.
  • Collaborate with corporate partnerships to fulfill digital asset requirements.
  • Work with the marketing team to optimize ticket sales and other revenue streams.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Web Design, Web Development, Business Administration, Marketing, CMS Management, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in HTML/CSS code for email marketing campaigns.
  • Analytical skills and the ability to derive insights from web analytic platforms.
  • Proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office software.
  • Prior experience with content management software is advantageous.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
  • Self-starter with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Must have strong project management skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Must have a positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and eagerness to learn.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Able to work evenings and weekends to accommodate the Teams' schedules.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.


  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sports, media, technology, or related fields.
  • 2+ years’ experience in digital operations, web design, website maintenance, CMS management, and/or email marketing.
  • Experience with Deltatre FORGE CMS or similar platforms.
  • Web Design experience a plus.
  • Salesforce experience is a plus.


The job requires regularly lifting/pushing up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifting/pushing more than 25 pounds or exerting heavy force, in a wide disparity or environmental conditions. The job involves standing, stooping, bending, lifting, pushing, typing, etc.
