TITLE: Broadcast Operations Coordinator

DEPARTMENT: Broadcast

REPORTS TO: Broadcast Content Producer

FLSA: Full-Time, Exempt

WHAT SETS YOU APART

We are seeking a hardworking, enthusiastic, and driven individual to work directly with the Broadcast Content Producer to support weekly broadcast production needs and match day production demands at Inter&Co Stadium and our practice facilities.

This individual will be responsible for engaging with external departments and broadcast stakeholders, including Major League Soccer’s Orlando City, National Women’s Soccer League’s Orlando Pride, MLS Next Pro’s Orlando City B, Orlando City Academy, as well as any other broadcast partners operating within Inter&Co Stadium and other Club-operated facilities.

Additionally, this individual will be expected to assist in producing and directing weekly content while helping manage the planning, execution and distribution of the Club’s weekly telecasts and live-streams using broadcast production equipment and cloud-based technologies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with over-the-top (OTT) / live-streaming setup and distribution for multiple Club platforms.

  • Edit broadcast highlights in Adobe Premiere Pro and organize for weekly content distribution on multiple Club platforms.

  • Act as an additional point of contact for broadcast production stakeholders for Orlando City SC matches, Orlando Pride matches, and other matches and events held at Inter&Co Stadium. Other matches and events may include, U.S. Soccer, CONCACAF, FIFA events, U.S. Open Cup, FC Series, Cure Bowl, etc.

  • Assist in the production of Club’s live pre-match show including but not limited to all technical and creative aspects. In addition, assist with producing and directing the Club’s weekly pre-taped broadcast productions, and assist in quality control checks for all produced broadcast content, ensuring timely and proper delivery to network partners each week.

  • Act as a liaison between external departments and broadcast production stakeholders to coordinate appropriate logistics and requests for all matches and events at all Club operated properties, such as parking, broadcast power and technology needs.

  • Develop a relationship with the Club’s security department to ensure proper credentialing for each match day for all broadcast crew and stakeholders. Ensure proper delivery of credentials before each match day for both Orlando City (MLS) and Orlando Pride (NWSL).

  • Assist in overseeing broadcast production set-up to ensure rules and guidelines are in place for the safety of all parties at all Club operated facilities.

  • Develop a relationship and work with on-air television and radio talent in order to assist in producing high-quality broadcast content that aligns with Club messaging and creative standards.

  • Develop a relationship with the Communications & Marketing department in order to assist Broadcast Content Producer with submitting requests for player interviews for Club’s broadcast content when needed.

  • Develop a relationship with the Creative department to assist in the requests of all visual assets needed for weekly broadcast telecasts.

  • Assist in the delivery of creative assets created for broadcast to editorial each week and assist in the editorial sessions for Club’s weekly broadcast productions.

  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in broadcast/television/production/film or related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a broadcast/television/production/film environment preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of file structure and organization.
  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and have a strong sense of accountability.
  • Must maintain the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality within a pro-team environment.
  • Strong understanding and passion for the sport of soccer is a plus.
  • Availability during non-traditional office hours in non-traditional settings, including holidays, nights and weekends is required.
