Join our Hospitality Team and help with events at the Oklahoma City Thunder! You'll assist in delivering experiences across our premium spaces, ensuring each detail exceeds Guest expectations. With over 43 games and 50 events annually, your role is key to uphold the Thunder brand. You will ensure every event is carried out with professionalism, attention to detail, and first-class service.

In this role you will:

  • Support the Hospitality team with departmental needs, including organizing social events both inside and outside the arena, coordinating game day activities, collaborating with our catering partner, and reserving arena spaces for Thunder-related events
  • Service our 14 hospitality environments within the arena for gameday and non-game day requests
  • Be the first point of contact at the Founders’ Lounge concierge desk
  • Setup hospitality environments on game days, including managing in-arena elements such as TV displays, music, personalized welcome messages, signage, mints, floral arrangements, ice sculptures, and program and postgame entertainment
  • Build strong relationships with Guests and arena staff to enhance the overall Thunder experience
  • Assist Courtside Club entertainment, including transporting gear and sound checks
  • Assist on premium theme nights with setup/décor in Club spaces, signage requests, live entertainment coordination, etc.
  • Maintain vendor and entertainment contact lists
  • Assist Manager and Facilities Coordinator with the setup and breakdown of all events in our Thunder All Staff room
  • Monitor the Thunder All Staff room portal schedule and calendar, and communicate with departments involved
  • Assist with scheduling the Thunder Launchpad and onsite executions including, greeting guests, managing furniture setup and breakdown, and liaising with internal groups as needed
  • Assist the Director and Manager with third-party events including setup, vendor and entertainment assistance, and client interaction
  • Manage offsite and onsite storage maintenance and inventory
  • Handle and place all Hospitality department signage requests and swag orders
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Minimum two years’ experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hospitality setting
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
  • A positive attitude, with a passion for providing outstanding service
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage with a wide range of Guests
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm under pressure

Additional details:

This is an entry level, full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Manager, Hospitality. Work schedule will include office hours, plus home games, and events on evenings, weekends, and holidays. Primary work location will be the Thunder corporate office located at the Paycom Center in downtown Oklahoma City. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are needed for occasional local travel. Background check will include driver’s record. Physical requirements include ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects when necessary. Employees are encouraged to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
