We’re looking for people who want to pursue a career in public relations within professional sports! As a Basketball Communications Associate, you’ll assist the media and the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Basketball Communications team during the 2024-25 NBA season. This part-time role offers a unique entry-level opportunity to work in the dynamic environment of professional sports!
This is a seasonal position that will commence in September of 2024. Associates will be expected to work most home games in addition to assisting with other projects on non-game days.

A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required for occasional travel. Work schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays for over 30 game nights and events. Primary work locations are the Paycom Center and the Thunder ION in Oklahoma City. The Paycom Center environment features loud music, crowd noise, and flashing lights. Physical requirements of the job include walking and navigating arena stairs. This is a part-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Senior Basketball Communications Lead. Employees are encouraged to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
