Seasonal Intern - Marketing

The New York Jets are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to assist the Marketing Department with ongoing advertising and promotional initiatives of the New York Jets. This person will play a key role in executing the team’s fan-facing platforms including digital & traditional advertising, gameday promotion and various audience development initiatives, including the GenJets Kids Club. This position will report to the Director of Marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementation of all Jets marketing initiatives to support season, suite, group and single game ticket sales.
  • Internally collaborate with other departments to compose written content for email marketing, radio spots, social copy, and other necessary platforms.
  • Coordinate management of GenJets Kids Club including quarterly newsletters and event activations.
  • Support ongoing promotion of Jets content releases, partner platforms, events & games, and community initiatives.
  • Work with Jets brand and graphic design teams to coordinate and traffic media assets for internal and external platforms.
  • Use dashboards and other resources to collect and analyze data for various groups and projects.
  • Identify best practices from other teams, leagues, venues and brands.
  • Assist in quality control of Jets marketing assets including email content, digital ad content and data capture forms.
  • Create new and unique opportunities for the Jets to engage and grow their fan base.
  • Support other department initiatives as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Superior critical thinking, analytical, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Creativity, flexibility, adaptability
  • Familiarity with the New York Jets brand
  • Must be available to work all Jets home games, Training Camp and other events as needed

Anticipated duration: April 2024 – January 2025
