Director, Corporate Partnership Sales

The Director of Corporate Sponsorship Sales is responsible for selling new, integrated corporate partnerships across all organizational lines of business. This role reports to the Vice President of Business Development + Ventures.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prospect, cultivate and close new business partnerships leveraging the New York Jets and MetLife Stadium controlled sponsorship and media assets
  • Negotiate deals to 7+ figures at the C-Level
  • Utilize prospecting tools such as Sponsor United, Winmo, and Zoom Info to strategically drive engagement in major and emerging categories
  • Leverage business intelligence from Jets Data Analytics team to create targeted research and narratives to incorporate into business proposals
  • Engage in onsite and out-of-office sales meetings
  • Collaborate with Corporate Partnerships Activation Team to manage, service and upsell existing partnership accounts
  • Develop relationships with clients and media planning/buying agencies
  • Maintain and be held accountable for required sales activity goals and reports
  • Perform other functions and activities as assigned by the Sr. Vice President of Corporate Partnerships
Required/Preferred Experience:
  • Prospective candidate should have no less than ten (10) years industry experience in a sales capacity
  • Sports, entertainment sales preferred
  • Strong existing client relationships required and direct working relationships with media agencies is a plus
  • Preferable to have experience in the NY/NJ marketplace
  • NFL experience valued, although not required
  • Proficiency in CRM (Kore, Salesforce, PowerBI) as well as Channel 1 presentation software
  • Self-motivated with entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Ability to manage a high level of detail across multiple projects and to prioritize efficiently
  • Possess an optimistic team attitude and competitive desire to be the best
