Nashville is America’s “It City” and a rising soccer hub. From U.S. Soccer showdowns to the FIFA Club World Cup, Nashville is quickly becoming a premier destination for the nation’s most prominent soccer events. Nashville SC, Music City’s home team, recently concluded its 5th season after achieving notable success both on and off the field, including the opening of the largest soccer-specific stadium in US and Canada, GEODIS Park in May 2022.

POSITION OVERVIEW:


The Account Executive, Ticket Sales will be responsible for selling new season and group ticket packages, including a focus on Youth Soccer, B2B sales, & other large theme night initiatives, with Nashville SC. Ticket packages will include Full season and Group ticket packages. The position will report to the Manager of Ticket Sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for, but not limited to, the sales of new season and group ticket packages.
  • Meet and exceed established weekly, monthly and annual sales goals.
  • Implement and demonstrate outbound sales efforts by using sales and service best practices, prospecting, networking, lead generation, referral gathering, data capture and personal database management.
  • Generate weekly out of office “face-to-face” meetings, presentations, and prospecting calls to create new business opportunities.
  • Cultivate relationships with local youth soccer clubs and teams to create large club nights as well as individual team groups initiatives on a game-by-game basis.
  • Provide a superior level of customer service to existing and new business clients.
  • Continually create and implement innovative sales strategies, ideas and programs as a means of producing new business opportunities.
  • Contribute positively to the sales team culture by fostering collaborative relationships with all team members.
  • Actively participate and contribute as a leader in sales team meetings, training sessions, and skill-building workshops.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in sports and entertainment ticket sales experience (preferred).
  • Experience in Youth Soccer or B2B sales preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business or related field (preferred).
  • Strong work ethic, team-oriented attitude, and enthusiasm about contributing to the success of the department and club;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Above average knowledge of PC systems including Word, Excel, and database-related platforms;
  • Working knowledge of Archtics, Microsoft office and Salesforce systems preferred;
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, if necessary;
  • Soccer knowledge is preferred, but not required; and
  • Bilingual (Spanish) speaker is a plus but not required.
