PRIMARY PURPOSE: Assist in the installation, maintenance, connectivity, and security of audio / video systems. Provide setup and operational support for large venue events (gameday / non-gameday), press conferences, productions, broadcast, and / or other multimedia technologies in a multi-site environment. Collaborate with Manager of AV Operations to improve operational procedures, operations, and systems to help maintain a stable and secure environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
- Maintain audio, video, broadcast, and production / control systems uptime and service levels providing for efficient and reliable operations
- Provide operational support and coordination for large venue events (gameday / non-gameday), and / or other multimedia technologies in a multi-site environment
- Install AV systems gear including flat-screen displays, video projectors, projection screens, speakers, microphones, amplifier control systems, equipment racks, etc. using industry best practices as per project Scope of Work
- Communicate and collaborate with internal and external partners (Live Experience, Communications, Safety and Security, Facility Maintenance, Marketing, Retail,
- Video Coaching, MLB, and F&B) to ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests
- Update and maintain documentation related to audio, video, broadcast, and production / control systems configuration, support, and processes
- Partner with the Network and End-User Operations teams as needed to resolve incident, service, and problem resolution
- Proactively maintain our photography and videography equipment for our Team photography and production teammates
- Assist with Broadcast Compound / Truck Dock Coordination
- Execute and troubleshoot event startup and shutdown procedures
- Support inventory and asset management documentation
- Provide feedback on the improvement policies, procedures and training / awareness documentation
- Contribute off-hours support including, but not limited to, ballpark events and system maintenance as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-5 years of experience operating and troubleshooting audio, video, broadcast, and production / control systems in small- and large-scale facilities.
Knowledge of and experience with large venue audio (Audio Amplifier, Consoles, Mics, Speakers, Distribution, DJ Systems, Signal Processing, Mixers, Dante Routing, Cabling.)
- Knowledge of and experience managing production / control technologies (Wire and Wireless Intercom and In-ear Headphones)
- Knowledge and experience managing Broadcast systems and technologies (Events, integrations, and transmission, Radio, TV, Streaming, IO Connectivity, Etc.)
- Knowledge and experience managing and coordinating wireless transmission and frequencies
- Knowledge and experience managing and coordinating events
- Knowledge of and experience with Videography and Photography (Cameras, Lens, Lighting, Mounts, Stands, etc.)
- Knowledge of and experience maintaining, monitoring, and logging of audio / video systems
- Knowledge of video systems (Switcher, Replay, Caption, Multiviewer, Character Generators)
- Knowledge of display boards (Large Presentation LED, Controls, Integrations, etc.)
- Knowledge of IPTV Systems and Content distribution systems
- Knowledge of pre and postproduction / control concepts and operations.
- Knowledge of with various network monitoring and event correlation systems.
- Knowledge of with client / server networks running Windows, OSX, and Linux in a standalone and virtual environment.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, including Layers 1-3, Spanning Tree, DNS, SNMPv1/2/3, and Firewalls.

- Game-day duties as dictated by job responsibilities and workload
- Required to work 100% of all jewel events (Opening Day, Gameday / Non-gameday Events, Post Season, Etc.)
- Required to work irregular hours and long shifts as dictated by business demands
- Availability to be contacted during nights and weekends, if necessary, to address network and server operations issues
- Occasional physical activity such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and working from ladders
