Position:

The Grounds Crew is part of the Stadium Operations department for Minnesota United FC (MNUFC), a sports business located in the Twins Cities area of Minnesota and a member of Major League Soccer (MLS), the top tier soccer league in North America.

Job Description:

The Grounds Crew position will assist the Club’s Groundskeepers by maintaining playing surfaces at both Allianz Field and Training Facility, along with exterior landscapes. This position will have the opportunity to work MNUFC home games at Allianz Field. This is a part-time position at Allianz Field in St. Paul and the National Sports Center in Blaine, reporting to the Assistant Groundskeeper.

Responsibilities:

Assist in general field maintenance, including but not limited to:
- Mowing, painting, string trimming, cultural practices, grow lights, etc.
Shoveling snow, tarp rolling, physical labor to clear the playing surface
Assist with pre and post event field preparations
Safely operate groundskeeping tools and machinery
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Previous grounds/turf maintenance related experience preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable spending extended periods of time outdoors in all weather conditions
Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and potential holidays as necessary
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work cooperatively with others
