Intern, Finance & Capital Planning - Summer 2024

The Capital Planning & Finance team of the Miami HEAT is seeking a Summer intern to join our department and help drive strategic decision making. As a finance intern, you will collaborate with multiple departments across multiple summer projects. This role will be responsible for the documentation, reporting, and key analyses of multiple upcoming Special Projects within the organization.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The following are examples of the various functions required. The job requirements are not limited to the items on this list.

• Providing daily support to Capital Account Manager & Special Project Managers on CAB reporting, data processing, and data validation.
• Understanding and assisting with budgeting procedures and cash flow management.
• Organizing and assisting with AP and projections for special projects.
• Assist with Fixed Asset Tagging Project.
• Fully participating in summer internship program and being a leader and representative for their team on the finance front.

Education and/or Experience

Must be enrolled in a college or university pursuing a degree in finance or a related field; Very organized and meticulous. Able to meet tight deadlines and adapt to a fast-paced, fluid environment while balancing multiple tasks at once.
