The Miami HEAT is seeking an I.T. Administrative Intern! In this position, you will assist in ensuring that I.T. services are providing maximum business value and I.T. investments are utilized efficiently. You will work closely with the I.T. Services manager to help strategize the rollout, implementation and/or adoption of new or current I.T. services. You'll play a pivotal role in developing and delivering engaging training materials to support our end users’ needs. This internship offers a unique opportunity to combine your passion for technology with your talent for public speaking and presentation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first level help desktop support to internal office end users
  • Assist in developing end user trainings on various I.T. solutions
  • Present both in person and virtual end user trainings on various I.T. solutions
  • Follow and contribute to documentation for procedural I.T. Services procedures
  • Organize, track and maintain software licensing
  • Project manage various small to medium sized projects

Requirements

  • Candidate must be available to work a minimum of 15 hours per week.
  • Candidate must have a basic foundation and understanding of the following areas
    • Microsoft 365 Applications (Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, etc.)
    • Microsoft Windows 7\10
    • Desktop\Phone\Tablet maintenance, repair and installation
  • Candidate must have the ability to work well in a team environment, welcome constructive criticism and have a positive attitude towards end users

Special Note: Qualified Candidates will participate in an initial screening interview, written and hands-on test. Candidate will be asked to come back for a second and final verbal interview if qualified.
