We’re looking for a midweight creative to join the branded content division of City Studios – the multi-award winning creative hub at the heart of Manchester City & CFG.

Your Impact

  1. Supporting the Executive Creative Director and branded content team you will be a key player in the creative output of the business including generating ideas for brilliant social content, creative solutions for our partner briefs, coming up with ideas to push the brand further and connect with fans all over the world. The single most important component of this role is the ability to come up with seriously impressive ideas and then get other people excited about them!
  2. You have a deep understanding of internet culture, social trends and are a voracious consumer of a wide range of content across sport, music, style, entertainment and more. You will lead in sharing best in class content with your colleagues, driving ideas forward, proactively thinking ahead and keeping our brand(s) fresh, exciting and innovative
  3. You can lead an idea from pitch to delivery with the ability to get colleagues and clients excited by your concepts and then know how to bring them to life with production teams.
  4. You are not just a conceptual creative, you are adept at hands-on craft – overseeing your ideas being brought to life by briefing in key departments / freelancers
  5. You’ll get to work across multiple different creative disciplines including video, stills, animation, copywriting and branding to name a few – so integrated experience will be beneficial.

What we are looking for

Essential skills

  • Experience delivering social-first creative concepts that have gained serious social traction with audiences either at a social publisher, social / creative agency or in-house
  • Demonstrable evidence of your brilliant ideas brought to life
  • The ability to create stunning concepts that bring a brands’ tone of voice to life while authentically speaking to an audience without sacrificing the quality of the content
  • A passion for social content, a desire to innovate and experiment and great instincts for what will work with audiences on social platforms
  • A deep knowledge of the production process and how content goes from concept to delivery
  • Excellent presentation skills both verbally and using presentation software such as keynote, PPT etc
  • Deep understanding of internet culture and social content trends
  • An interest and enthusiasm for sport with a good understanding and knowledge of football
  • Commercial awareness
  • An audience-centric approach that always considers how a creative content will resonate with / be received by audiences
  • An interest in sports, entertainment and football culture
