Program Summary

To raise important funds to support its youth programs and charitable grantmaking to local nonprofits, LADF hosts a variety of in-stadium fundraising events and programs. The 50/50 Raffle Seller Team will support all LADF fundraising activities at all Los Angeles Dodger home games. This position will assist in the implementation and promotion of in-stadium fundraising to include the 50/50 raffle.

LADF conducts a 50/50 Raffle fundraising program at all Los Angeles Dodger home games. Every game, fans have the opportunity to purchase a raffle ticket from our 50/50 Raffle sellers located throughout all stadium levels. All sales conclude at the end of the seventh inning with a winning ticket number being announced during the bottom of the 8th inning. The total jackpot for the night will be split 50/50 between the individual with the winning ticket and LADF. In 2022, LADF has raised over $5.1 million through our 50/50 Raffle program!

Position

LADF is looking for one (1) reliable, organized, and tactical individuals to serve as a Game Day Coordinator for the remainder of the 2023 Los Angeles Dodgers baseball season. Game Day Coordinators will primarily be responsible for conducting our 50/50 Raffle, per California State Guidelines, at all Dodger home games. It is necessary for the Game Day Coordinators to monitor raffle software and assist in monitoring the sales staff throughout the game. Game Day Coordinators report to the Director, Development with game-day management by the Supervisor, Development.

This is a seasonal, part-time position.

Pay Rate: $19/hour

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Arrive before game day sales staff to set-up raffle software and run appropriate tests. Arrival time will be about 4 hours before first pitch (i.e. for a 7:10 p.m. game the shift begins at 3:00 pm and ends at the conclusion of the game).
  • Manage raffle seller coordination and logistics during the game and troubleshoot as needed and assist in management of 50/50 technology
  • Serve as roaming lead during games to assist on busy nights and ensure all sales staff members are covering their sections properly
  • Assist with motivation/evaluation of sales staff. Enforce seller policies and procedures
  • Accurately monitor staff and raffle performance throughout the season through data analysis
  • Manage raffle software close out following each home game
  • Participate in multiple training sessions (training sessions TBD)

Candidate Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required (will consider senior in college)
  • Must be able to work at least 75% of all remaining Dodger home games during the 2023 season
  • Candidates must have a flexible schedule that allows them to work home games, day or night, weekends and holidays if necessary
  • Ability to interact positively with a motivated, energetic sales team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Advanced in Microsoft office programs
  • Must be comfortable with technology and have above average verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of LADF

Schedules will be at LADF's sole discretion and may vary depending upon seller availability and performance. Game Day Coordinators will be employed at-will and are not guaranteed any minimum numbers of hours or shifts. This paid position is a part-time position restricted to Los Angeles Dodgers season.
