We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC Women team as a Player Care & Wellbeing Officer on a fixed term contract basis. In this varied role, you will develop and support the wellbeing of LFCW players both emotionally and holistically. You will lead on Player care and the use of existing staff to support player development, including manage/action the player mental health and wellbeing strategy.

Who are we looking for?
To be successful in this role, you will have experience and knowledge of welfare and player care within a sporting environment. You will hold a FA Welfare Officer qualification or equivalent and FA Safeguarding or equivalent certificate with a Risk Assessment qualification, knowledge of GDPR and mental health awareness desirable.
You’ll be able to demonstrate the ability to create positive working relationships with all key stakeholders and will be able to work confidentially. You will also be able to showcase excellent communication and ideally will be able to speak other languages. With your professional approach, you can remain calm under pressure and will be highly organised with excellent attention to detail. Experience of making travel arrangements or knowledge of the requirements for sports tournaments and tours would be beneficial.
