POSITION PROFILE: Planning & Performance Manager
DEPARTMENT: Marketing
REPORTS TO: Director of Programming and Media Development
STATUS: Full-Time, Exempt

JOB SUMMARY:
The Chiefs Media and Marketing Business Unit is seeking a Planning and Performance Manager “PPM” to lead a team of their peers, monitor project and campaign progress, set deadlines, solve issues that arise, manage budgets, ensure stakeholder satisfaction, and evaluate project performance, including the performance of their team members.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive global programming across the business portfolio and platforms
  • Assemble, coordinate, and drive as “quarterback” for working groups for cross-team/functional projects- you will be specifically tasked to own a workstream.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with platform leads to ensure all programs are executed on time and maintain the overall health of the global roadmap
  • Develop and manage master trackers for all live, in progress and completed campaigns
  • Lead cross-functional planning by working closely with Legal, FP&A, Marketing Verticals, Communications, and Arrowhead Events to streamline processes, identify and remove blockers
  • Proactively develop solutions, find efficiencies and improve processes across team operations
  • Ability to manage key external agency partners and third-party vendors, including drafting scopes of works, reviewing proposals, executing contracts, and managing invoices
  • Organize, schedule and drive regular meetings with cross-functional team members, and as needed with key stakeholders for urgent actionable items
  • Synthesize multiple diverse perspectives into actionable solutions and next steps
  • Support the team by developing materials including internal Comms reporting, research and business brief development
  • Adaptable project manager, who brings both analytical and creative thinking to their daily role
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Brand/Consumer Comms and awareness of pop culture trends
  • Projects are often explorative and strategic in nature and require strong project management and analytical skills
  • Manage routine and standardize dashboards and performance metrics in monthly performance reviews
  • Track and measure employee monitoring throughout the year

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years professional experience in Program Management, Media, and/or Marcomm
  • Advertising/Media Agency experience in account management or product management preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Business, Finance, Economics or related degree required.
  • Strong strategic planning and consensus building skills required
  • Strong interpersonal skills; Leadership and Team Building
  • Strong creative, ability to manage multiple projects at once, project management and organizational skills
  • Understanding of project management software such as (Adobe WorkFront, Asana, etc.)
  • Thorough knowledge of the Chiefs portfolio business process and systems is a plus
  • Strong communication skills – presentation, written, verbal
  • Expert in Brief Development, PowerPoint Storytelling, and Excel
