POSITION PROFILE: Digital Media Seasonal Assistant
DEPARTMENT: Digital Media
REPORTS TO: Digital Platforms Manager
STATUS: Seasonal, Hourly

JOB SUMMARY: The Kansas City Chiefs are looking for a talented Digital Media Seasonal Assistant that can bring a strong sense of creativity and collaborative skill set to the Chiefs in-house Digital Media Team.

The Digital Media Seasonal Assistant will assist with maintaining, creating and optimizing web pages on Chiefs.com and the Chiefs Mobile App, as well as distributing content and following brand best practices on our Chiefs YouTube channel. Candidates should come in ready to utilize modern industry standards to create new and engaging user experiences, as well as stay up to date on the latest digital trends.


  • Conceptualize, design and build pages and content for Chiefs.com and the Chiefs Mobile App within league provided content management system (CMS) and third-party vendor platforms, Rover, Contentful, Yinzcam and Figma.
  • Assist in creating request or sign-up forms through our third-party vendor, Formstack.
  • Daily maintenance of all digital properties.
  • Assist with maintaining team transactions, updating rosters and team depth charts.
  • Assist in the management, promotion and distribution of content on Chiefs.com and the Chiefs Mobile App.
  • Assist in ideating and creating user experiences Chiefs.com and the Chiefs Mobile App.
  • Assist in the management and promotion of content on YouTube including long-form videos, YouTube shorts and community tab post.
  • Research new and innovative ways to build our YouTube channel and continue our success as the leagueโ€™s top subscribed team.
  • Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to assist in creation of thumbnails, web and app graphics, and more.
  • All other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor's degree in digital media, web development/design or a related field.
  • Experience using Word Press and/or other content management systems (CMS).
  • Understanding of SEO, digital media and mobile app best practices.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including written and editorial acumen.
  • Strong attention to detail, grammar, and proofreading skills.
  • Experience authoring copy.
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • The desire to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience working with the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Understanding of football is desired, but not required.
