POSITION PROFILE: Brand Marketing Seasonal Assistant
DEPARTMENT: Brand Strategy & Fan Development
REPORTS TO: Sr. Director, Brand Strategy & Fan Development
STATUS: Seasonal, Hourly

JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position will focus on supporting our Sr. Director of Brand Strategy & Fan Development to bring the brand to life for our fans in new and exciting ways. Our ideal candidate for the brand marketing seasonal role will be innately innovative, driven by a passion for staying ahead of the cure, and deeply attuned to the ever-evolving cultural landscape. They will work cohesively with multiple stakeholders across the Chiefs organization to build and execute meaningful programming that makes our fans the heroes and recruits new fans through a focused approach that speaks directly to our must win segments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • A key contributor in developing and executing innovative marketing campaigns to elevate the Kansas City Chiefs brand.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints and channels.
  • Act as a representative of the Chiefs when communicating with fans
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for optimization
  • Assist with research as it relates to domestic market growth/expansion and be the voice of the fan in all planning sessions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for fan and brand growth.
  • Support other marketing initiatives and projects as needed.

HOURS REQUIRED:

  • 40 hours per week and events/game days.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand building.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skill with an expansive understanding of the social media landscape.
  • An open and innovative mind, easy adaptable to a variety of settings and audiences.
  • Qualified candidates must possess superior organizational skills and be able to function in a fast-paced, multi-task setting.
  • Must have a working knowledge of the following Microsoft Office programs: Teams. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
