Part-Time Raffle Ticket Seller

POSITION SUMMARY:
Houston Dynamo and Dash Charities is seeking to hire high-energy motivated sellers who are reliable, organized and outgoing to serve on our 50/50 Raffle sales team at all Houston Dynamo and Houston Dash home games during the 2024 seasons. This unique opportunity allows individuals to gain sports industry experience while giving back to the Houston community. This is a seasonal, part-time position.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
▪ Approach fans pre-game and in-game to explain the details of the 50/50 raffle program and to sell raffle tickets
▪ Facilitate raffle ticket transactions via electronic handheld device
▪ Represent the Houston Dynamo and Dash through a positive attitude, excellent customer service, and a desire to enhance the fan experience
▪ Answer questions fans may have about the 50/50 raffle program
▪ Effectively meet and exceed established sales goals
▪ Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES & OTHER:
▪ Must be able to work 80% of all Dynamo and Dash home games with various hours including nights and weekends and the ability to arrive 2 hours before the start of each game
▪ Must exhibit a positive outlook that values customer service while serving a large fan base
▪ Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining organizational skills and a strong work ethic
▪ Should exhibit a genuine enthusiasm for community involvement within the sports industry
▪ Should be comfortable with technology (i.e. tablets, printers, card readers)
▪ Possess strong sales & interpersonal skills

Schedules will be set at Dynamo and Dash Charities sole discretion and may vary depending upon seller availability and performance. 50/50 Sellers will be employed at-will and are not guaranteed any minimum number of hours or shifts. This paid position is a part-time position restricted to the 2024 Houston Dynamo and Dash seasons.
