Pre-Academy Goalkeeping Coach

The positions purpose is to work under the direction of the Pre-Academy Manager & Head of Goalkeeping on the delivery of the Pre-Academy Goalkeeper Programme. The aim is to identify early signs of talent and potential in young Goalkeepers via our various recruitment methods. This individual will be responsible for the retention of Pre-Academy Goalkeepers via strong relationship building and delivery of high calibre training sessions. Lastly, this role will play a large role in the design & delivery of a tailored and individualised training programme designed around the needs of Pre-Academy Goalkeepers.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Coaching:

- Lead Goalkeeper Coaching sessions weekly at Motspur Park.

- Support Pre-Academy Manager in the aligned delivery of high quality training sessions.

- Design/Plan & Deliver a detailed Coaching Syllabus in alignment with the Academy Goalkeeping Philosophies and Pre-Academy Season Plan.

- Support on Goalkeeper Reviews and Development Plans when required.

- Be available and flexible to cover Academy Goalkeeping Sessions when required.

- Use the club's appropriate incident reporting system when required.

Player Management:

- Support the week-to-week development of the Pre-Academy GK Programme.

- Develop strong relationships with players and parents across the GK Programme.

- Ensure the Academy value's are implemented in all sessions/games.

- Ensure all players have a positive experience whilst at Fulham.

Talent Identification:

- Support Local Recruitment Team on the ongoing assessment of Goalkeepers within the Pre-Academy Programme.

- Support Local Recruitment Team on the identification of potential Goalkeeepers of interest for the Academy.

• To monitor repeated incidents of poor behaviour and liaise with their DSO or Head of Safeguarding.
