An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and motivated Football & Education Officer to join Fulham FC Foundation.

Football & Education Officer

The Football & Education Programme works with two local sixth forms to provide 16-19-year olds with an elite football development programme, combined with exceptional academic studies.

The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing, developing, and growing our three existing Football & Education teams (Raynes Park High School male, Raynes Park High School female, Ark Globe Academy male). The Football & Education Officer will be responsible for upholding the high delivery standards across all of our teams and making sure that there is a consistent approach across each venue. They will also need to develop positive relationships with the key stakeholders from each partner school, making sure that the foundation and schools are aligned on the programmes aims.

As officer of the programme you will play a key role in the recruitment of new student athletes, being responsible for each team achieving their recruitment targets. This will involve the marketing and planning of recruitment events, management of the recruitment process, and developing a programme specific social media presence. Alongside this, you will also be tasked with building relationships with local grassroots clubs, and other internal programmes to support the recruitment process.

The successful candidate will be expected to manage the programmes budget, and so experience in doing so will be preferred. They will also be responsible for the programme achieving its outcomes, which will include creating some programme specific monitoring and evaluation methods.

Finally, 10 hours of your role will be designated to being the assistant coach at our Ark Globe Academy Team. As part of these 10 hours you will be expected to support at all training sessions and matches.

Candidates must have the following qualifications (in date) and experience, as a minimum:

  • FA Level 2/UEFA C Football Coaching Qualification
  • FA Safeguarding Children Certificate
  • FA First Aid Certificate
  • Working with young people in an educational environment

The closing date for this role will be Sunday the 29th of September, with the first round of interviews taking place the following week.
