Human Resources Intern Summer 2024

Description

The HR intern will play a supportive role to the Human Resources department for the soccer club and stadium and will receive exposure to all facets of the Human Resources Department.

  • Assist VP of HR with recruitment efforts, which may include attending job fairs, posting jobs externally and creating recruiting collateral.
  • Administrative duties including but not limited to filing, scanning documents, special projects, and data entry.
  • File appropriate documents in employee folders, maintain files, organize files.
  • Answer the HR Department telephone, when necessary.
  • Assist HR Department with any projects that may arise.
  • Work closely with the VP of HR on various projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.
You are:
  • Outgoing, dependable, and trustworthy student.
  • A self-starter and have a can-do attitude.
  • Able to work independently as well as in a collaborative team setting.
  • Capable of working under pressure while juggling multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule to include some nights, weekends and holidays based on event schedule.
  • MUST BE ABLE TO WORK AN ASSIGNED SCHEDULE
Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
  • Must be an active college student.
  • Must have strong organizational, communication and computer skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal plus verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and technology skills to include Excel, Word, and Internet.
  • Strong Adobe skills a PLUS
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish a plus.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
