Position Summary:

DC Power FC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Coach for our professional USL women’s team. The Assistant Coach will support the Head Coach in all aspects of team management and development, contributing to the success of the team by implementing training programs, developing game strategies, and mentoring players. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coaching, a passion for women's soccer, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Coach in planning and conducting training sessions, focusing on technical, tactical, physical, and psychological aspects of the game.
  • Develop and implement game strategies and tactics in collaboration with the Head Coach.
  • Analyze match performance and provide detailed feedback to players and coaching staff.
  • Mentor and support players in their development, both on and off the field.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure player health and fitness.
  • Scout and evaluate potential talent for the team.
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of match day operations.
  • Participate in community outreach programs and represent DC Power FC at public events.
  • Undertake ad hoc activities as required, contributing to the overall success and functionality of the team.


  • Minimum of a FIFA B coaching license; UEFA qualifications are welcomed but not required.
  • Proven experience in coaching at the professional or collegiate level, preferably in women’s soccer.
  • Strong knowledge of the game, including tactics, techniques, and player development.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive team culture.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
