Team Attendant (Part Time)

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the leadership of the Equipment Manager/Travel Coordinator, the Team Attendant is responsible for assisting basketball players and other team personnel of the home and visiting teams during all Cavaliers' home games. May also be required to work during team practices and other selected basketball games held at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse (e.g. Mid-American Conference tournament, etc.). This role is essential for the seamless operation of a basketball team's game day activities and requires individuals who are organized, reliable, and able to work well under pressure.

** This is a part-time, hourly position, seeking candidates 16-21 years old in Cleveland, OH. Must have availability to work evenings and weekends. Must reside in Cleveland, OH to be considered.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage setting up Team benches and other basketball court areas prior to all home games.
• Keeps the basketball court dry at all times during games.

• Stock and organize on-court items such as towels, water, and sports drinks.

• Attend to Players and Team Member needs during warm-ups.
• Rebound for players during pregame & halftime warm-ups.
• Assist with any in-game equipment needs as directed by Assistant Equipment Manager.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 16+ years or older.
• Must reside in Cleveland, OH.
• Must be available to arrive at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse at 4pm for all Cleveland Cavalier home games.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, primarily during nights and weekends, to accommodate game times.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have the ability to lift 25 - 50 lbs.
• Must have reliable transportation to get to and from Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
