HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:
The Manager, Premier Sales is responsible for leading the Premier Sales team and ensuring the achievement of organizational revenue targets associated with net-new sales of full-season and half-season suite licensees along with club seating within Wrigley Field. This role is also responsible for ensuring the execution of a process-oriented approach to sales and building team-wide sales skills. The Manager, Premier Sales will train, coach, and develop sales associates on the Premier Sales team and create campaigns to maximize the success of the department.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Define and execute sales campaigns that target core Chicago Cubs Premier products
- Manage lead generation and campaign strategy in collaboration with Marketing Department and Senior Director, Ticket Sales
- Build and execute a defined CRM sales strategy that is consistent among sales team
- Forecast and track revenues across all core products
- Develop a sales-centric culture that strengthens prospecting, lead generation, and cold-calling skills among sales associates
- Train and coach associates on best practices for managing a pipeline, securing referrals, executing sales meetings, and presenting to prospects
- Collaborate with Premier Service team to plan, build, track, and execute the annual renewal of expiring Premier clients
- Thorough recruitment efforts to hire top talent as needed
- Meet or exceed all operational and revenue targets
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Minimum of two years of sports sales management / leadership experience
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate in a team environment
- Ability to work non-standard hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
