SUMMARY

The Manager, Lifecycle Marketing will drive strategy and lead program execution with a focus on building our audiences and crafting superior growth, retention and loyalty programs for BSE Global brands. This position will leverage CRM to develop a strategic roadmap of full-funnel activations across products/channels to build generational fandom for the Brooklyn Nets and our larger portfolio of brands.

The Manager will be responsible for using data and insights to steward targeted marketing campaigns across our digital ecosystem. This individual will continuously strive to better understand consumer behavior in the pursuit of deepening fan engagement and providing significant, personalized experiences. This role will collaborate closely with colleagues across Consumer Technology, Business Intelligence, Ticketing and Partnerships.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Build an outstanding, multi-channel lifecycle marketing engine, starting with a strategic deep dive of our existing data sources and CRM channels

  • Partner with our Business Intelligence and Consumer Technology teams to build customer journey flows based on audience segmentation

  • Supervise a global retention and lifecycle marketing program that cultivates engagement and dedication with our existing consumers through email, direct, SMS, app, and other channels

  • Leverage insights to build performance indicators with cross-departmental partners and implement a detailed testing regimen tied to overall growth, engagement, conversion and retention objectives

  • Coordinate with Business Intelligence to deliver ongoing departmental and executive reports

  • Partner with Brand, Creative & Content teams to develop messages, templates and communication plans across channels (paid, owned and earned), aligning with brand positioning

  • Collaborate closely with Performance Marketing counterparts and agency partners to define targeted audience groups, expand reach across paid channels and achieve revenue objectives

WHO YOU ARE:

  • 5+ years of Marketing experience, with expertise in lifecycle marketing, CRM strategy, engagement and/or loyalty marketing roles

  • Proven capabilities in audience segmentation and customer journey development

  • Expertise crafting multi-touch customer acquisition, retention & loyalty programs

  • Strong understanding of demographic, quantitative and qualitative information, as it pertains to current market environment and deriving audience insights

  • Reporting capabilities inclusive of KPI development, campaign optimizations, goal pacing and historical comparisons

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

  • A highly collaborative, adaptable teammate who can excel in a fast-paced environment

  • Skilled in encouraging meaningful, trust-based cross-departmental relationships

  • An excellent written and verbal communicator (including reporting and presenting)

  • Expertise across the Sports and Live Entertainment landscape a major plus

  • Foundational knowledge of Salesforce Marketing or other CDP & CRM is preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

May be required to travel on occasion; trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights

SALARY RANGE:

$80,000 - $100,000

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Works primarily in an office environment but is expected to attend games and other events on evenings, weekends and holidays
