POSITION OVERVIEW:
This position will be responsible for Spring Training operations, jetBlue Park events, Boston Red Sox Fantasy Camp and Spring Training In-Game Fan Services experiences. This role will primarily focus on the development and growth of the Fantasy Camp experience by ensuring a high level of customer service when interacting with attendees and a high level of professionalism. This position will also be accountable for assisting in event sales and revenue goals at jetBlue Park.
Timeline: October/November 2023 through April 2024
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists in the coordination and execution of operational needs for Fantasy Camp including all camp events, financials, and customer service.
- Help develop and grow the Fantasy Camp experience and revenue generation.
- Renews and services all Fantasy Camp accounts. Establishes and maintains strong customer service relationships with attendees on a year-round basis.
- Encourages Fantasy Camp attendees to upgrade their plans and/or add seats to their accounts when purchase patterns indicate a potential benefit to the customer.
- Reviews all Fantasy Camp account information to make sure it is up to date, accurate and complete. Makes changes to or obtains additional information when needed.
- Handles all questions, requests, problems and concerns from Fantasy Camp inquiries and sales.
- Conduct visits with Fantasy Camp attendees during events.
- Coordinates and executes operational needs for all jetBlue Park events and Spring Training games/practices.
- Help develop and grow the jetBlue Park events business and revenue generation.
- Assist in executing Spring Training pre-game experiences including the National Anthem, First Pitches, Dignitaries, etc.
- Assist in executing Fan Services objectives and operations.
- Preventive maintenance tasks.
CHARACTERISTICS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of two (2) years of work experience in sports/event settings and in sales of those events.
- Strong customer service, communication, time management and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and quotas.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel required.
