Summary:

The Baltimore Orioles are one of Major League Baseball’s iconic franchises with a deeply loyal and passionate fan base. We have a long history of success including three World Series Championships in 1966, 1970, and 1983, and have been putting the pieces in place over the past few years to have another long run of success on the field as evidenced by this season’s post-season push.

We play our home games at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, which opened in 1992, and is consistently ranked as one of the top ballparks in Major League Baseball. It has also been the site for many historic moments such as Hall of Famer Cal Ripken, Jr. breaking the all-time record for consecutive games played, Hall of Famer Eddie Murray hitting his 500th home run, and hosting the 1993 MLB All-Star Game to name a few.

The Baltimore Orioles are seeking a Corporate Partnership Analyst to assist with strategic initiatives in Corporate Partnerships. This position reports to the Senior Director of Business Strategy & Analytics, but primarily participates as a member of Corporate Partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop reports and dashboards that visualize data for Corporate Partnership leadership team.
  • Build and present data visualizations for use in Corporate Partnership proposals.
  • Responsible for day-to-day management of Orioles partnership tracking platforms.
  • Utilize existing research tools to identify partnership opportunities and evaluate the effectiveness of existing partnerships.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Partnerships on the creation of comprehensive partnership recaps.
  • Analyze partnership assets and rate card to optimize existing opportunities and identify new inventory possibilities.
  • Enter manage and extract sponsorship data within the teams Sponsorship CRM platform.
  • Assist in executing partner brand health studies, including survey design, content development, and reporting results.
  • Support Business Strategy and Analytics additional needs across various departments.
  • Assist with development of annual forecasting for department goals.
  • Identify industry trends to help identify new opportunities.
  • Participate in client facing meetings as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, or related field
  • 1 – 3 years of full-time experience in Consulting, Finance, Strategy, or related field
  • Experience in Sports and/or Media & Entertainment a plus
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred
  • Experience with SQL and/or statistical programming languages such as R, Python preferred
  • Motivated team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Self-starter capable of working independently as a project manager
  • Challenge oriented problem solver
