JOB TITLE: Account Executive, Ticket Partnerships
DEPARTMENT: Ticket Partnerships
REPORTS TO: Director, Business Development
JOB PURPOSE: This position will focus on generating new ticket sales business by way of a focused and organized outbound sales effort.
COMPENSATION: Includes a base salary established per the staff memberโ€™s experience. Commission to be paid for all new sales.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary duties to include, but not limited to the following:

  • Place a daily 50+ outbound sales calls
  • Meet minimum email and appointment goals, set by the Director of Business Development
  • Conduct face to face sales appointments
  • Sell Full Season Tickets, Partial Season Tickets, Group Tickets, Pregame Parties, and Single Game Luxury Suites
  • Meet or exceed specified sales goals
  • Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from a variety of sources, including but not limited to, LinkedIn, newspapers, business directories and trade shows
  • Target new prospects, former Season plan holders, and single game buyers
  • Manage incoming leads regarding new Season Plans
  • Consistently maintain a strong sales pipeline and display the capability to manage a sales funnel effectively
  • Provide exceptional customer service as part of the Orioles Birdland Ticket Membership benefits program
  • Attend and travel to trade shows and networking events
  • Assist with special events and game duties
  • Record detailed daily activity in ProVenue and Salesforce
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned


Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Two plus years of experience in ticket sales/operations and customer service preferably within a professional sports environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High level knowledge of the ProVenue ticketing system
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Highly organized and self-motivated
  • Work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate creativity and innovated ideas to drive New Business for the organization
  • Perform duties as workload necessitates
  • Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload
  • Meet Department productivity standards
  • Flexibility to work event hours plus some weekends and evenings
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop solid relationships with clients
  • Excellent attention to detail and an ability to produce high-quality and accurate work
