Job Summary:
We are looking for someone who has a passion for editing and telling amazing stories. From high energy in arena hype videos, thirty second commercial spots, sales tapes, first-team player video series, outside the box creative social media content, to documentary style storytelling, this role will have the opportunity to work with many different types of content. You will have the chance to help shape the visual identity of the Atlanta Hawks video content. If that sounds exciting, then perhaps this is the role for you!
This role is based in Atlanta, GA and does not require travel outside of Atlanta Hawks office locations/occasional on site editing in the greater Atlanta area.
The Hawks Studios Senior Video Editor will work closely with the Director of Content to lead the way for the creative editing execution and style for key creative projects. This individual will have creative and technical skills to see projects through from start to finish. They must be comfortable collaborating with other department heads, clients, editors and producers as necessary. They will be adept at evaluating creative challenges and concepting creative content to solve those challenges. This role will directly interface with Global Partnerships, Basketball Operations and Legal on the projects they are producing. They will also be responsible for concepting, editing, mixing and delivering original pieces of content.
