The Senior Director, People Development & Learning will play a key role in our employee experience as we Welcome, Grow, Involve, and Celebrate our team members.

Responsibilites/Duties

  • Champions the initiatives of diverse organizational learning and development programs, promoting effective knowledge management strategies to meet organizational objectives.
  • Develops and administers the organization's education, training, and development programs that foster the organizational expertise needed to maximize employee effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Establishes and maintains a learning/training assessment system in cooperation with internal and external training providers to evaluate the effectiveness of learning outcomes and to implement enhancements as needed.
  • Ensures employee acceptance and adoption of new technologies and business processes through investigating and evaluating them in the context of their applicability to the business.
  • Designs and curates a variety of learning methodologies and resources, including e-learning, instructor-led training, workshops, coaching, and mentoring programs.
  • Stays up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in learning and development to ensure programs are innovative and effective.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to develop and deliver high-quality learning initiatives.
  • Oversees the implementation and administration of learning programs, including scheduling, logistics, tracking, and evaluation.
  • Manages the learning management system (LMS) and other learning platforms, ensuring usability, accessibility, and data integrity.
  • Establishes metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and impact of learning programs.
  • Supports a continuous learning environment across the company and implements change management principles as needed.
  • Conduct other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in a leadership role focused on learning and development.
  • Strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to partner with business leaders and translate requirements into an aligned learning and performance plan.
  • Ability to develop integrated training solutions through instructional design from inception to post-delivery assessment.
  • Strong facilitation skills applicable across formal and informal (e.g., coaching, mentoring) approaches
  • Strong consulting and influencing skills; ability to lead training partners that don’t report to this role.
  • Strong interpersonal and developed presentation skills with a proven ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage and thrive within ambiguity.
