Senior Membership Product Executive

The Role


We are looking for a Senior Membership Product Executive to oversee the strategy for Youth Membership, working alongside the Senior Membership Product & Marketing Manager to drive acquisition, engagement and reduce churn at all levels of Youth Membership.

Additionally, the role will work alongside other Brand & Marketing colleagues in the execution of the marketing plan to support activations in both local and international markets, to drive engagement with our global fan base and deliver results.

This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

Your day-to-day


  • Developing youth membership proposition - work alongside Campaigns & Insight, Product & Engineering (specifically Digital product managers), Brand & Marketing and Comms & Media teams in the development of the Youth Membership proposition, producing a season-long strategic plan and delivering against this to meet Membership targets
  • Driving member acquisition - work alongside the Brand & Marketing teams to lead, plan and implement season long recruitment plans to drive acquisition into Youth Membership, identifying new and innovative ways to recruit members
  • Create membership journeys - work alongside the Membership Product Manager, other Senior Membership Product Executives, Campaign & Insight and Venue teams to create automated Membership journeys in line with the strategic plan
  • Youth member engagement - work with Membership Marketing, Brand and Campaigns teams to deliver 'only Arsenal can' digital campaigns to increase member engagement and positive sentiment
  • Events planning - work alongside Brand & Marketing colleagues to develop a strategic events plan to engage current and prospective Members to evolve both the matchday and non-matchday experience
  • Enhance supporter experience - use insight and continuous learning to develop and enhance the supporter experience and relationship with the Club
  • Advisory - act as advisory for the Club on best practice and latest trends in the Youth Membership sector

What we are looking for


  • Global experience - in a similar role within an international or global business
  • Membership programmes expertise - experience in managing Membership Programmes or subscription-based products with a good understanding of the key pillars of delivery recruitment, engagement, and renewal
  • Passionate - a passion for sports/sports entertainment
  • Self-starting and proactive - an energetic self-starter with a real drive to deliver a leading Youth Membership strategy that deeply engages with our fans
  • Commerciality and strategic thinking - strong commercial acumen and a strategic thinker, with ability to review data and results and adapt strategy accordingly
  • True team player - must be able to manage and nurture a network of stakeholders and be a strong team player
  • Analytical and creative - strong analytical and organisational skills, and ability to deliver multiple projects in a fast-moving environment. Must blend analytical skills with creativity with a good understanding of marketing principles
