The Tampa Bay Rowdies are looking for a Groundskeeper performing the day-to-day maintenance of the fields.

Responsibilities

The position will perform skilled landscape construction duties including the repair and construction of athletic fields, irrigation systems, drainage systems, walkways, etc.
Executes the playing field maintenance program including fertilization, cultural practices and irrigation and all other related functions.
Experience handling and applying pesticides and fungicides.
Ability to work for extended periods of time in high heat and humidity
Ability to work with any plant materials, soils, pesticides, and chemicals commonly used in landscaping operations.
Obtain instructions and carry out assignments as given by the Director of Stadium and Grounds.
Help supervise crew putting out field tarps and putting them away.
Experience painting sports field lines.
Operating all small to medium sized grounds equipment. (weed eaters, blowers, paint machine)
Experience cutting turf with a reel mower.
Experience with fertilizing.
Experience with repair of irrigation.
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Previous experience with sports turf maintenance, preferred.
Willingness to work a variable schedule including some weekends and holidays, especially during the soccer season.
