Conversion Technician

The Tampa Bay Rays are looking for an individual to work as a Conversion Tech in the facility operations department
Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of work such as setting up pipe and drape, tables and chairs
• Will assist will laying flooring, risers and field inserts for events
• Will perform a variety of event related tasks
• Set up cones, stanchions and fencing both inside and outside of the ballpark
• Assist plumbers, electricians and carpenters with maintenance projects in the building

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of work experience
• Knowledge and ability to use forklift preferred
• Be able to help with problems and provide possible solutions
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly with a great deal of patience
• Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces
• High standard of integrity and professionalism
• Must be prepared to work flexible hours/weekends/overtime
• Able to work in a collaborative/teamwork environment
• Knowledge of how to use aerial lifts/ not afraid of heights a plus
