Overview:
The St. Louis Blues, Enterprise Center & Stifel Theatre are looking for a creative and passionate individual to join our team as Coordinator, Digital Platforms! This position is responsible for creating and maintaining enticing content across the team’s digital channels in support of the organization’s goals and initiatives.
This position reports to the Manager, Innovation & Digital Strategy
What you’ll do:
- Manage and build website and mobile app landing pages for driving web views, revenue generation, database growth and the trafficking of promotional/sales messages
- Manage engagement platforms, setting up contests, widgets, entry forms and other elements on a weekly basis, while also assisting Business Intelligence department on data collection efforts
- Develop engaging copy for usage across digital channels
- Assist in updating the app throughout the season to promote various gameday activities, initiatives and activations
- Works with the Innovation team to ideate and develop new ideas to enhance fan experience and drive digital engagement
- Assist with game-night fan content and engagement elements such as platform activations, team coverage and sponsorship/sales/marketing-driven initiatives
- Research and compile evolving digital marketing and technology trends across industries
- Develop and write original content for Blues digital channels
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in digital media, journalism, communications, marketing or in a related field
- 1-2 years’ experience creating, managing and building content for consumption across digital properties (website, mobile app, social media, email, SMS, etc.)
- Prior experience updating/maintaining web and mobile app properties using a content management system; knowledge of FORGE CMS a plus
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite preferred, particularly with photo and video editing
- Some experience editing HTML and CSS is preferred
- Ability to operate and communicate effectively in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
- Willing to work efficiently under deadlines to produce high quality, accurate work
- Strong copywriting skills and attention to detail are a must
- Must possess strong organizational skills, be self-motivated and creative
- Knowledge of front office business practices within a professional sports franchise
- Knowledge of hockey preferred
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work game nights and other nights, weekends and holidays as required
