As a Team Store Ambassador, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our fans' engagement and satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service and offering tailored shopping recommendations.

Expectations: As a Team Store Ambassador, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring that fans' visits to the Team Store are enjoyable and memorable. Your commitment to excellence will shine as you assist fans during game days, weekends, and evenings, fostering an atmosphere of excitement and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities:

  • Extend a warm and inviting greeting to fans, actively engaging them in conversations to understand their preferences and needs.
  • Utilize your keen observational skills and fan interactions to offer personalized recommendations and suggestions, enhancing their shopping experience.
  • Display a deep understanding of in-store promotions and product offerings, effectively communicating these to fans.
  • Maintain meticulous standards by organizing inventory, accurately counting and tagging items, and ensuring the sales floor and stockroom are well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Efficiently process sales transactions as a cashier, handling payments with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Uphold the highest level of professionalism and customer service, embodying a friendly and attentive demeanor to cater to fan needs.
  • Assist in crowd management, ensuring a safe and orderly environment, and intervening when necessary to maintain order.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of basketball events, arena layout, and offerings such as food locations and merchandise spots, contributing to a well-rounded fan experience.
  • Remain well-versed in emergency procedures, ready to guide fans calmly and confidently in case of any unforeseen situations.
  • Collaborate in the setup and teardown of the Team Store before and after events.
  • Fulfill any additional tasks as assigned, showcasing your adaptability and dedication.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Embrace a friendly and professional attitude that resonates with our brand's values.
  • Adhere to impeccable appearance standards that reflect the professionalism of the team.
  • Previous experience in customer service and/or retail is preferred, highlighting your ability to cater to diverse customer needs.
  • Cash handling experience is a plus, demonstrating your financial acumen and accountability.
  • Thrive in a high-pressure environment, maintaining accuracy and courtesy even during peak hours.
  • Shifts will span 4 to 8 hours, requiring your unwavering dedication and stamina.
  • Physical capabilities include standing for extended periods and lifting 25 – 50 lbs when needed.
  • The ideal candidate should be available for all 2023-34 Stockton Kings home games, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
