Job Summary: The Sacramento Kings strive to leverage innovative technology and data-driven decision-making to deliver exceptional experiences for our fans and customers. The Marketing Automation Specialist will be a crucial part of our Business Intelligence department, responsible for managing our Salesforce Marketing Cloud instance. This role involves creating and executing digital marketing campaigns, including emails, cloud pages, and automated journeys. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to learn new technologies, particularly in marketing automation, website creation, and data analytics.

Key Responsibility Areas:

  • Manage and optimize our Marketing Cloud instance, ensuring seamless integration and data flow across business units.
  • Build and deploy email marketing campaigns, cloud pages, and journeys/automations for Sacramento Kings, Stockton Kings, Kings Team Store, and Golden 1 Center events.
  • Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to leverage data for targeting and personalization – analyzing campaign performance to improve future strategy.
  • Utilize HTML, JavaScript, AMPScript, and SQL skills to develop and customize email templates and landing pages.
  • Ensure all campaigns comply with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and IT, to align strategies and support business objectives.

Qualifications:

Education, Certifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, digital marketing platforms, and web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, SQL) are highly desirable.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Digital Marketing or Marketing Automation, preferably with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar platforms.
  • Proven experience with web technologies and marketing automation, including HTML, JavaScript, and AMPscript (preferred) for creating dynamic marketing content
  • Strong analytical abilities, with experience in data-driven decision-making and performance analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Compensation:

The offer range for this full-time, exempt role is $70,000 - $80,000. Final offers for this role will be made within the parameters of the salary range provided. Years of experience, skills, and other factors are considered when determining the salary offered. Total compensation & offer package will include the following:
