Job Summary

As a Human Resources Intern with the Pittsburgh Pirates, you will gain valuable experience with our People & Culture Department. In this role you will gain knowledge in the Human Resources Field including our HRIS and processes that support our team. You will learn various Human Resources support functions through a hands on and challenging internship experience with one of the most storied franchises in Major League Baseball.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with recruitment needs including phone calls, follow up with candidates and onboarding support.
  2. Maintain all personnel files in both paper and electronic formats. Scan and upload employee file documents on a weekly basis.
  3. Assist staff with employee Self-Service questions and support issues.
  4. Provide administrative support, including but not limited to: mail distribution, employment verifications, benefits mailings and audits, special projects, business card orders and other support functions as needed.
  5. All other duties assigned by Manager, People & Culture.


Required:

  • Must be a junior, senior or graduate level
  • Human Resources or related major
