Coordinator, Partnership Operations & Virtual

Primary Job Functions & Summary of Position:

The Coordinator, Partnership Operations & Virtual will serve as the main conduit for the execution of tasks critical to the success of Partnership Sales and Marketing operations. Specific duties of this role are meticulous management of all virtual and camera visible partnership assets including; Digitally Enhanced Dashers (DED), virtual slot, virtual glass (bench and net) and static dasherboard templates. Reporting functions for this position are vital to delivering value on existing partnership agreements and maximizing partnership revenue. Another key component of this role is management of partner invoicing and collections. Candidate will be responsible for collaborating with Finance to generate partnership invoices per the terms of the partner agreements and deploying them to the appropriate parties. In addition, the candidate will generate aging balance reports and follow up on payments as needed.

The primary responsibility of the Partnership Marketing and Partnership Sales team is revenue generation and the ability to develop partners to fund and support specific initiatives of the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation.

Summary of this position: This position will have complete awareness of each partner’s virtual assets, camera visible signage and payment schedules; and work alongside all members of the department to track and execute the fulfillment of our obligations. This position will personally ensure that the Penguins are responsible to the partner for delivering on their assets, responsible to the NHL for trafficking virtual assets, and responsible to the organization for critical revenue. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to positively impact each member of the team and the organization as a whole.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Full administration of the Partnership Sales and Marketing DED, virtual signage and static dasherboards
  • Reporting to Partnership Marketing (PSM) on fulfillment of DED and virtual signage
  • Reporting on current and projected DED and virtual signage revenue analysis
  • Management of PSM invoicing and payment collections
  • Traffic manager for in-arena digital advertising assets on arena LEDs
  • Liaison for NHL Line-of-Sight signage approvals (dasherboards and in-ice logos) on game by game basis
  • Coordination of dasherboard template and in-ice production / installation with Arena Operations
  • Management of select PSM partnership accounts
  • Management of partnership CRM processes
  • Build internal relationships and ensure that each communication and interaction fosters a positive working environment. Be a leader in the areas of collaboration
  • Assist with the execution of PSM special events
  • Other duties as assigned
