About the role

We’re looking for a First Team Coach to work with our First Team Manager and support staff to collaboratively plan, deliver and evaluate coaching sessions for the First Team in line with our playing philosophy.

You will prepare and deliver well structured, safe, appropriate and accurate sessions, ensuring that players are supported to enable the advancement of skill and performance on a NUW elite player pathway.

You will collaborate with the analysis team to prepare for matches and training sessions, focusing on opposing teams and players, whilst also contributing to post-match analysis and providing feedback to players and the manager.

Your impact

You will be an experienced coach with a proven track record of working with and developing elite female players and coaches to their full potential within the FA Women’s Championship or the WSL.

You will have an Advanced coaching licence (UEFA A) along with your FA safeguarding. You will also have professional membership of the FA Licences Coaches Club.

You will be resilient and a self-starter, with the proven ability to work in a dynamic and challenging football environment.

About the team

You will work for the Women’s First Team Manager and Assistant Manager. You will work alongside our Goalkeeping Coach. You will have day to day interaction with our medical, performance and safeguarding teams.
