2024 Internship, Summer- Academy High Performance - Part Time
Company Description
NY Red Bull Academy are looking for an Academy High Performance Intern to join our high performance team for Summer 2024. Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to assisting in the creation and implementation of medical/performance initiatives set by high performance staff. This internship also includes a weekly workshop series designed to introduce the intern to all aspects of a high performance environment. Note: applicants must have availability on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
Job Description
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Weekly attendance at medical/performance educational workshops with academy physical therapists, athletic trainers, and/or strength and conditioning coach
- Observe and assist academy physical therapist with daily player treatment sessions
- Maintain cleanliness of high performance facility spaces (gym + treatment room)
- Assist with data athletic performance data collection
- Assist performance staff with warm ups, activation, and gym sessions
Qualifications
- Undergraduate student with aim to enter the physical therapy profession.
- Willingness to learn. Desire to work in the medical/performance field.
- Able to commute to Whippany, NJ 3's per week.
- Prior knowledge in Microsoft excel. Uphold core values of Red Bull New York

- This is an unpaid, for credit internship (proof that you will receive credit is required).
- You must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Because of the cyclical nature of the entertainment industry, your assigned hours may vary to reflect our needs (includes nights and weekends).
