This is a temporary position with an expected duration not to exceed (10) months.

Position Summary:

Support administrative efforts for the Player Health team through organizational tools and initiatives, process development and improvement, and the coordination and resolution of complex and time-sensitive projects. Responsibilities include providing organizational, administrative, and project support to all Player Health staff and partnering closely with department personnel and cross-departmental stakeholders throughout the NBA to implement efficiencies and support the development of Player Health processes and tools. Individual should be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, manage, and maintain documents, including updating templates, formatting team-facing communications, creating surveys, and managing spreadsheets
  • Manage Player Health distribution lists (team physicians, athletic trainers, cardiologists, and COVID-related lists)
  • Manage and maintain filing system for Player Health documents and curate the “Team Player Health Resources” SharePoint folder
  • Track critical Player Health records, team personnel credentialing and other compliance, staff responsibilities, and letter agreements
  • Manage filing of team memos and other Player Health communications to team and league staff
  • Provide support for all Player Health meetings and events, including assisting with coordination of logistics (credentials, hotels, tickets, hospitality, etc.) for Player Health staff and guests for NBA events (e.g., NBA All-Star, Draft Combine, Summer League), including on-site meeting arrangements (set-up, logistics, signage)
  • Assist with account management of Player Health vendors, including maintaining a list of vendor agreements and tracking and processing invoices
  • Contribute to Player Health projects designed to drive strategic and operational initiatives by supporting project plans, including tracking objectives, deliverables, accountabilities, and timelines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary documents, information, and data for Player Health matters
  • Find opportunities to create or improve processes, identify, and share best practices, develop playbooks, training, and improve efficiency across the Player Health group
  • Support the development and implementation of internal process guidelines and workflows to improve Player Health group efficiency
  • Manage administrative tasks in support of general operations, including for Player Health leadership

Required Education/Professional Experience:

  • College Degree Preferred

Salary Range: $31.25 - $36.00/hr
