Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Systems Manager to join the club. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure and end user environment ensuring the availability, security, and performance of all systems. This role requires a combination of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication to support our organization’s technology needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Technical Support:
o Respond to user inquiries and provide support for hardware, software, and network issues.
o Diagnose and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
o Provide technical support to end-users for hardware and software issues.
o Provide training and support to end-users on software applications and systems.
• System Management:
o Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and software applications.
o Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
o Conduct regular system updates, backups, and patches to ensure security and performance.
• Network Administration:
o Manage and support local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and VPN connections.
o Ensure network security by implementing firewalls, VPNs, and security protocols.
o Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, storage, and networking equipment.
• Security and Compliance:
o Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures to safeguard sensitive data and systems.
o Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to data security and privacy.
• Budget Management:
o Assist in developing and managing the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
• Collaboration and Project Management:
o Work with cross-functional teams to support IT projects and initiatives.
o Assist in the evaluation and deployment of new technologies and solutions.
Qualifications:
• Education:
o Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience:
o Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT systems support or a related role.
o Proven experience with server management, network administration, and security practices.
• Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in Windows and Linux server environments.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 administration.
o Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems
o Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
o Familiarity with Meraki administration.
o Familiarity with Okta and single sign-on.
• Soft Skills:
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
