NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Workday Lead which is a 100% remote position.
This person is responsible for the lead support for the Workday Talent Management and Compensation modules. Serves as part of the Workday team, providing expert advice and oversight.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- The Workday Lead is responsible for supporting Compensation with the design of the annual compensation cycle
- Design and support HCM with the annual performance review and goal processes
- Resolve complex Talent, and Compensation issues
- Deploy new Talent and Compensation features
- Engage with Adaptive Planning consultants to initiate a learning journey to become the SME for the platform's feature
- Conduct discovery calls with workstream users and document requirements
- Collaborate with AMS partner on complex issues to increase knowledge
- Identify the root cause of issues and collaborate with workstreams on the solution
- Coordinate documentation efforts: Develop documentation and playbook templates
- Change Champion: Bring your expertise to push the boundaries of Workday and bring innovative ideas to the forefront. Brainstorm, research, and propose innovative solutions that enhance the worker experience
- Educate the workstreams on new and unused features that will gain efficiencies for the end-user
- Workday certifications in Advanced Compensation or Performance Management are preferred
- Travel required: < 10%.
- No supervisory responsibilities.
Required skills / experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university or college.
- 5+ years or more of Workday HCM functional experience.
- Experience in Human Resources preferred but not required.
- Experience in labor scheduling and time collection systems and processes.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or other ITSM products is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills to accurately document and report findings to a variety of audiences.
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Be a leader by taking ownership of an incident, communicating frequently with stakeholders, and managing roadblocks until completion
- A customer-focused mindset: patience, empathy, responsiveness, and partnership
- Develop and maintain complex custom reports and dashboards
- Identify the root cause of issues and collaborate with workstreams on the solution
- Provide knowledge transfer with AMS peers and junior resources
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Proficient with all Company supplied hardware and software. Knowledge and experience with Workday HMC.
- Ability to research complex issues using various internet sources.
- Attention to detail, customer service, analytical, project management, communication.
- Position requires 5+ years of Workday HCM functional experience. Certification preferred, not required.
