As part of the Performance Nutrition Department, the Sous Chef will provide support to our executive chef on providing fresh, local, sustainable, and nutrient dense meals tailored to our players and staff to operate at peak performance.
Core duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
The ideal candidate will have a degree in culinary arts, culinary nutrition, nutrition, or related field, with a preferred or minimum 1-3 years related experience as a cook in a professional or amateur athletic setting. Kitchen employees must have or obtain a valid Food Handler’s Card/Certificate valid in Maricopa County, MBBC kitchen staff will inform employee how to complete. This position is based out of our Arizona Spring Training facility in Phoenix, AZ.
