The Miami HEAT and Kaseya Center are hiring for an Event Services Intern to assist the Event Services Department with the overall event coordination of Concerts, Family Shows, Miami HEAT Games, and small-scale events such as meetings, trainings, Court of Dreams, rehearsals, etc. Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist Senior Event Manager, Event Managers, and Event Coordinators with reviewing event booking forms and prepping Event Worksheets as assigned by Sr. Director of Event Services.
- Assist department in prepping event estimates & final event invoices for small-scale events, as assigned, such as a Court of Dreams, Kaseya Center Tours, and camps.
- Support Event Managers with coordinating VIP Parties, Event Sponsorship Activations, Radio Station placement, and concourse set-up.
- Facilitate Dressing Room Coordination between the building and show, as assigned.
- Create and place event-specific signage for all events and other show-specific duties as needed.
- Conduct building walk-throughs for all events which will include physical inspections of various areas of the facility to ensure proper setup as well as safety for guests.
- Ability to manage and complete multiple assignments at the same time with great attention to detail.
- Daily Administrative duties and projects as assigned.
- Must be available for the duration of the yearlong internship from September 2024 β June 2025.
- This internship requires irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be enrolled in a college or university in an Event Management or Sports Management program to be considered for internship.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel to be considered.

- Must be enrolled in a college or university in an Event Management or Sports Management program or graduated in the last 6 months in a related program; Very organized and detail-oriented. Able to meet tight deadlines and adapt to a fast-paced, fluid environment while balancing multiple tasks at once. Must be proficient in Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Previous experience working in a sports and/or live event venue preferred.
