The Miami HEAT and the Kaseya Center are looking for a full-time Security Officer that will assist in the handling of any security-related disturbances or problems that might arise during events or at the facility. Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:
- Handle any disturbances or problems that arise during events or at the facility. If necessary, escort disruptive individuals to the security office and/or off the premises.
- Write incident reports and meet with the security supervisor to review procedures.
- Inspect alarms and fire extinguisher/sprinkler systems to ascertain they are set to operate. Inspect premises for signs of intrusion or tampering.
- Tour the facility examining doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are secured.
- Assist with crowd control inside and outside the premises.
- Control unusual circumstances and events during a fire, storms, riots, and other emergencies.
- Answer alarms and investigates disturbances.
- Assist departments with any security-related issues.
- Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Assist security division with special projects.

- Must have a minimum of one-year related security experience and/or training. Must demonstrate knowledge of security issues related to major sports and entertainment venues. A Class D License license is required.
