The Talent Acquisition Team at City Football Group (CFG) are responsible for identifying, attracting, selecting, and recruiting top talent. This process is the key pillar of the employee journey and is arguably one of the most important drivers of organizational success.

Your Impact

The Talent Acquisition Executive supports all aspects of talent attraction & acquisition across all business areas both UK & Internationally.

The role is accountable for the full recruitment lifecycle acting as an internal 360-degree recruiter from obtaining the required approvals, drafting job descriptions and adverts, advertising these across multiple channels (in line with our ED&I priorities), screening and shortlisting applications, managing interviews through to the verbal offer.

This role will also provide external market insight, feeding this through the TA manager to ensure our external offering is competitive. Using key sourcing tools to proactively source candidates.

What You’ll Be Doing

  1. Partnering with internal stakeholders to understand resource requirements, then creating 360 recruitment plans and managing this through to offer.
  2. Undertake all activities as part of the recruitment lifecycle including obtaining the required approvals, drafting job descriptions, advertising across multiple channels, headhunting (where required) screening and shortlisting applications, then managing interviews and offer.
  3. Provide Insight to stakeholders on external market trends and talent suitability. Using TA knowledge to advise ways the advert could be adapted to ensure it reaches the correct audience, this could be a title change to align with the external market or advertising on a particular platform.
  4. Manage stakeholder relationships autonomously ensuring leader satisfaction is high with the TA service.
  5. Efficiently manage the candidate journey – ensuring the candidate > employee journey is as smooth as possible, and that our employer brand is represented correctly externally.
  6. Continuous improvement on daily TA processes to ensure they are smooth and efficient for both the hiring manager and the candidate. This includes offering solutions to ad hoc challenges which may arise.
  7. Ensuring the TA dashboard data is correct and updated daily to ensure accurate reports are provided to the Head of TA and other leadership.
  8. Ensuring we align with our wider ED&I strategy including inclusive job adverts and advertising, through to fair interview process, diverse recruitment panels and assessment.

What You’ll Bring

  • Demonstratable ability to manage end-to- end recruitment processes across multiple departments and disciplines (internally or agency side)
  • Expertise in utilising a breadth of attraction methods with strong direct sourcing experience including social media channels, linkedin recruiter and other job boards
  • Knowledge and experience of recruiting for a diverse organisation, embedding best practice ED&I into talent acquisition
  • Strong experience multitasking, managing several active roles at a time
  • Demonstrable evidence of building and maintaining (internal & external) stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to maintain data points and system updates (ATS exposure)
  • Ability to provide solutions to the TA manager based on difficult hiring needs without the need to escalate
