Purpose:
To assist in the daily delivery of catering services for the Academy by:
•Providing a professional, friendly, and efficient service to the customers and being the link between the customer and the kitchen staff.
•Always maintain a clean and presentable food service area ensuring the product on offer is presented to the quality of the agreed standard.
•Complying with all health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring all health and safety standards are maintained and all company policies are adhered too, particularly in respect of food safety.

Your Impact
- To ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, tidiness and maintenance of the food service and kitchen area, its surroundings and equipment, liaising with Maintenance Departments as and when necessary.
- To prepare the required food service area for opening, including for breakfast, lunch, dinner and the Parents lounge service and at the end of each service for the next service/use of the area on a daily basis to the required standard.
- To provide an efficient and effective service to customers, understanding their needs and requirements, and working to exceed these wherever possible.
- To carry out daily cleaning and hygiene duties such as washing up, wiping down surfaces, cleaning tables as required.
- Provide a point of contact for customer enquiries, dealing with these through to a successful conclusion.
- To assist in the preparation, display and delivery of the food and associated items ready for service and ensuring that the food displays look attractive and are correctly always labeled. Manage the re-garnished/replenished of food displays as and when required.
- To assist in the serving of food and drinks ensuring correct portion control.
- To be totally familiar with the composition of all menu items.
